Anything Your School Does My School Does Better…

Some people say med students nowadays are coddled. I disagree. We’re not coddled. We’re kneaded. There’s a difference.

Jokes aside, when you get an email saying that Greenville Tech Massage Therapy students are offering free massages on the third floor, you take a break from your busy class PowerPoints, board prep and vigorous studying to have just a few moments of relaxation.

Or, if you’re a third-year (like myself), you toss aside your bagged lunch, scurry in your car over to the med school, and race back to clinic before lunch break is over.

Never been this loose writing a blog post before…

Back to the grind. Until next time.

P.S. Be sure to check out Greenville Tech’s Student Massage Clinic in the next few weeks!

Formerly from the Baltimore area, I graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in pre-med. Having interacted through MedEx with the faculty and students, I knew the doctor USCSOMG will graduate was the doctor I wanted to become. If I’m not hitting the books, you can probably find me spending time with my better half or on the basketball court. It is an honor and a privilege to be a member of the class of 2018, and I’m excited to share my passion for emergency medicine and health education with my peers. “To whom much is given, much more shall be required.”
