Leaders of the USC School of Medicine Greenville recognized this paradigm shift and created an environment and a curriculum that would enable its medical students to leverage information technology and become better physicians in the process. In this video, Wired for the Future, Dean Jerry Youkey explains why medical students are given an iPad and a laptop when they arrive and why 66 miles of wire were needed to create a wireless environment at USC School of Medicine Greenville.
